How this is measured
IPOs since 2009, with the standard 180-day lockup, measured from before the expiry to after it against the S&P 500. Some deals use other terms or release shares early; the prospectus has the exact terms. Measured on Steady's price history, which holds only companies still trading, so companies that later failed are missing and the picture is kinder than it was. A pattern across many companies says little about any one company.
