How this is measured

Every first warning per company in three years since 2010 (8-K item 3.01), read and sorted by what it was for; moves to another exchange, merger delistings, warrant delistings, board vacancies and regained compliance are left out. What happened within a year comes from SEC filings: bankruptcy filings, delisting notices, merger filings, and companies that stopped filing reports. Still listed a year later: 70% of warnings since 2018, 64% from 2010 to 2017. A pattern across many companies says little about any one company.
